But small portions will leave you feeling "hungry" as your blood sugar drops, so try to switch away from eating carbs and go for high fat, high GI foods.
These don't make your blood sugars rise and drop again anything like as much, so you can cope with eating less and not feel the craving to trough more.
It's well-nigh impossible to get rid of all carbs, but do what you can.
No point eating cereal as mr k takes the best bit out and sells the rubbish to us,best eat porridge or cereal with nuts rasins etc made by others,morning start etc prings to mind.

If you saw how much glyophosate goes onto cereals just before harvest, you'd try to stick to organic flour and cereals.
