    The plaster can bubble if painted or papered to soon,plasters can leave it like a babys bum here channa and no requirement to rub back,spring is best time to plaster and then well dried by mid summer ready for sealing.
    Irish builders are the best,ones on mainland served there time with wheetabix.

    Rubbish. Sometimes you'll need to go back and touch up corners with caulk and paint if it's settled and cracked, but no reason not to paint. This will depend on how much work has been done, and with what materials. Single wall skimmed? Probably fine. New extension? Probably cracks in corners.

    No cracks with my plasterer,leaves it like a babys bum,only happens if dried out to fast in summer.
    Tlaking of which i must get on with my we job,almost there now.
