as far as i know you can drive onto a weigh bridge with two front wheels and the weighbridge will weigh the front axle then drive off and leave the back two wheels on the weighbridge and get the back axle weight......

Not the ones in Bradford and Leeds they only do gross weight and I have been on the internet for the past 2 hours trying to find one that will do it.

Have a looksy at places that do race car set up/tuning.... A, lot have corner weight scales (pad that goes under each individual wheel....to aid with suspension set up
IF the scales are capable of taking the weight they should be able to work out axle weight for you.

Annie, did your search come up with one at Trading Standards in Morley?
Might be out of date information though because the comments I saw were from 2008/2009.

The public weigh bridge in Morley, Its free and can be used any time of day as the display is on the wall outside. Slowly drive over it and it displays the axle weight. I used it a couple of years ago.

I wonder if they say they can't do it because they cannot produce an official ticket with that information? If you tell them you don't need documentation, but just are 'curious' then they should surely let you drive half-on, jot down the weight, drive fully on, jot it down and then half-off for the rear and jot down the weight. It is not an official docket, but you don't need one.

(the weighbridge I go to will tell me my weight for free, but if I want it official, will charge as they have to log it - seems fair enough?)

Have you tried your local coal merchants ? Thatís who I use after noticing vehicles of all shapes and sizes getting weighed before and after loading up with coal, just asked one day and he actually weighed front, back axles and overall weight.
