I have been a fan of internet radio for about 10 years and I think it's great.

You can also listen to amateur or ham radio online,

HF WebSDR at RAF Hack Green

VHF & UHF WebSDR at RAF Hack Green

Now these 2 amateur radio Software-defined radio (SDR) sites will take a little effort

Amazing. Great fun, thanks mr brown

The first station it locked onto was Limmassol in Cyprus.

Brought back happy memories of me at 21 being interviewed on radio and playing my concertina on air

That's the trouble with Linux. All our servers run on it, but in the desktop, it is "a brave choice, minister."

    BRILLIANT !
    Works with Lappy or mobile
Mrs has had "her" local (Colombian !) radio station playing since late morning. Thoroughly enjoying listening to local news and localised presenter Spanish accents from a small station down in the River Magdelena Valley.
    Thank You
