PC Police Demand BBC Presenter Be Sacked For Racist Monkey Tweet. – RichieAllen.Co.Uk
we have joked about the PC brigade for several years now... but .... its getting much more serious than that..... George Orwell - 1984 - would be laughing if he were here now..... "told you so" - the thought police are everywhere....
just why do some folks think that their "being offended" is ANYTHING the rest of us should take note of - we choose to be offended - we could choose "i am offended, sack the person that said this" or "I accept this could be offensive... but thats what free speech means"
The right to free speech imposes a responsibility for ones words as Mr Baker has discovered. I though what he did was offensive, hurtful and in very bad taste. I cannot see that it was anything but an attempt to appear funny at the expense of new parents, and it would be so whoever they were, and if the father took offence and happened to meet the now unemployed Mr Baker and rearranged his dentistry I wouldn't blame him one jot.
What makes it worse is his treating the matter as a big joke when he was asked about it by reporters. Had he said he now realised what he did was wrong and said he was sorry perhaps people might be a little understanding but his subsequent behaviour conforms he doesn't give a s..t, so as far as I am concerned I hope he remains unemployed for a suitably long time.

It's either acceptable or not, it doesn't matter where it's broadcast from...
I was not offended by the tweet. I'm more offended by the sh1t stirrers that probably don't actually care and just want the personal exposure.
Hope I haven't offended anyone.
If I have, b0llocks to you lol.
How could anybody believe his idiotic story that he was unaware of the implications of the picture he posted? As a well known Millwall fan he would be only too well aware of the type of racist insults that are routinely heard at matches.
