    Vets and Pet Passport

However I use Google Maps to find a vet. Choose a small town en route and search for 'veterinaire'. Most have websites, in my experience they always have someone who speaks English, and appointments are often not required.

Costs tend to escalate the nearer you get to the port!

I used this one a couple of weeks ago...............

    La Mailleraye-sur-Seine.
    description
    58, Rue de la Republique
    Tel – 02 35 05 37 67
€15 (38 kg dog) + the cost of tablet (€6 for small dog) (Sept 2012)
If you want to use the service it would be best to phone first as the Vet is
not in attendance full time but a Receptionist is there during Office hours
    and Saturday morning.
Receptionist's English is basic but Vet is fluent.
Parking is possible outside but not really necessary
due to the very close proximity to the Aire.
    Open – M-F 0845-1230 / 1500-1900
    Sat - 0900-1200 clinvetcedre@hotmail.fr

They charged €15.50 per dog but I would take your own worming tablets as they were expensive. Most chemists in France sell dog medications at a far cheaper price than the vets will charge you.

Another recommendation for the vet at La mailleraye sur Seine.

    I've used them twice.
