we keep a cat to control the rodents and rabbits so clipping claws aint going to happen.

monster moggy was howling outside the bedroom window at some silly hour this morning...... when i eventually went to feed the little sod theres a gut and rabbit tail on the doormat, so he cant be hungry. he must be getting old , didnt try to climb in through the bedroom window with it.

Claws on domestic cats must be trimmed unless they have lots of concrete to run on,we sod should have been in bed to morning before going out, shame on you leaving a pussy out in the cold.

i can categorically state that in a lifetime of cat ownership i have never ever trimmed ones claws, and weve acres of grass but very little concrete.

as mice and rats are basically nocturnal and rabbits are most active in early morning it makes no sense to mollicoddle tiddles. anyway hes got a catflap into a 12 x 10 shed thats got 4 inch insulation in walls and ceiling and two deep freezes as a heat source, mid morning he was fast asleep in the polytunnel , he aint got it too hard .
