    Listened to the radio version a little while back, somehow the surreal psychological atmosphere came over in in the sound version better than it ever did on TV.

    I loved The Prisoner when I was young, also liked Danger Man - or maybe I just had a bit of a crush on Patrick McGoohan! I remember the programme scheduling for DM clashed with The Man From Uncle on the Beeb and all my schoolchums watched that instead because of Ilya Kuryakin, but I was smitten by Patrick.

    In the days of the VCR I acquired a few of the Prisoner episodes - still have them but no VCR to play them on. I wonder if a DVD box set is available?
