Lovely pull ins (no facilities) - alongside the river as ou go thro the sma'glen area there are a series of laybys, ok for an overnighter.

Along Loch Earn between St Fillans and Lochearhead there are laybys and picnic areas where people regularly pull in for a night or a few days stay. Lovely place to stay and friendly camping/fishing community. It does get busy so get there in plenty of time to find a spot. If you have pup tents these can be put up on the shingle beaches. Stunning views.

Aberfeldy (The Birks of Aberfeldy) - another gem if a little hard to find. Go through the town (from the A9) to the traffic lights and turn left up the hill. There is a right turn into the Birks - head for the top carpark, which is quiet -apart from the waterfalls - and in the forest. A popular walking area, and good for dogs and kids

we stop in this area on our way up north.
Fishing is allowed by permit and you can get them in the village store
can get busy at weekends but it is good fun with a lot of families and fishermen, good area for a over night stop off, water bailie does his rounds and stops to check for fishing permits on a regular basis
