I thought id put some bits of bacon fat out for the birds. Sadly I didn't figure that my Tom cat has a very good sense of smell. I give up......Bloody cats! This my garden where he does his hunting. We thought he could never get onto the bird feeder. We were wrong

Bloody cats indeed. We no longer have any but have the pleasure of next doors cat without the vets bills and ties lol. He is a little bugger and loves sitting under the bird feeder, and sneaking in when we open the door to anywhere (he's just spent 3 days just before Christmas locked in our cellar, as he sneaked in and hid, just before we locked up and went away), we got a frantic call from the neighbour as another neighbour had told her we were away til the new year! and they could hear him meowing. It's a good job he's a very vocal cat. He does seem a bit more cautious now though.

chances are if you can see it, it is nothing to do with cats. More likely hedgehogs.

Cats are better than the rats we once saw on our bird table.

Unfortunately my neighbour has four cats and I can guarantee the sh_t that regularly appears in my garden has nothing to do with hedgehogs.

    Cats by law are all.
allowed to wonder where they like, only un nuetered cats leave muck on top of soil.
Sadly my big white cat died two days back with a hart attack at only 5 years old,the vet tried to save him but these things happen, his partner is looking every where round the house for him,we showed kids him dead and getting buried in garden so they will understand death, rip frosty

I can't click 'like' as not the right sentiment such a shame about your cat

We were meant to have two cats (would have been about 5 weeks old IIRC) but one of them (a Ginger we called Biggles) died between us seeing him and picking him up. We still have his sister from the same litter nearly 8 years later and is in good health (we had her neutered as she had a heart tremor and didn't want to risk extra strain on her).
