    Jaqui,
    I think I remember reading that there's an issue with the Noza Tec not being able to display the WC POI icons - but you might at least be able to get audio alerts. On my Noza Tec, I go into the navigation menu, select "more", "settings", "sounds and warnings". I then scroll down past the options starting with "Volume" and "Voice Language"until I get to "Alert Point Settings". Select that, then select "Alert Types". After scrolling down past loads of options like speed cams, eventually there's one with the POI symbol labelled "Places". Go into that and make sure that "Audio and Visual" is selected.
    I haven't yet been out on the road to test it, but it looks as though that's the option you need.

    For the benefit of anybody struggling, I thought it was worth updating this excellent guide to say that my device came with the o/s and map files all on internal memory, no SD card was supplied. Also, the folder folder called userdata with a subfolder called POI was already there, all I had to do was to drag and drop the POI files. I don't know whether they are all like this now, mine is the version with the AV in socket and Blutooth - it may be that some Ebay sellers are selling older stock.

    The only issue I had was that when I plugged the USB lead in, my computer didn't recognise it. I blamed this on Windows 7, tried my trusty old XP laptop and the same thing happened. Then while the OH was out of the way I tried it on her Win 10 laptop - no luck. Then I realised that it wasn't even charging via the USB, and found that the mini-USB plug into the device was a very snug fit, and I hadn't given it enough welly when plugging it in - it went in a bit futher, and all was well!

    I still haven't found out how to enter postcodes
    - the menu isn't the same as described in the instructuions.
    On mine just put them in 'Town' field, don't forget you must use the space as in AA21(Space)4GH

    The problem is that the KML files are for Google Earth, and are not well adapted for iGo. It is fairly simple to make an icon appear on the map. Masking the right icon appear requires editing the .kml file in a text editor, and also putting the correct picture in the icon folder.

    [Update May 2017]

    If you want all the WC POIs to show in one folder, you need to make the <Document> entry the same for all of them, and then put the POI type-specific details in the <Folder> entry in each file.

    This is the Wild Camp example. The changes to the .kml file are:

    <Placemark>

    Note that if this was the Pub Stops file, it would be slightly different:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <kml xmlns="http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2" xmlns:gx="http://www.google.com/kml/ext/2.2" xmlns:kml="http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom">
    <Document>
    <name>Wild Camp</name><metadata><igoicon><filename>Wild_Camp.bmp</filename></igoicon></metadata>
    <Folder>
    <name>Pub Stop</name>
    <metadata><igoicon><filename>Pub_Stop.bmp</filename></igoicon></metadata>
    <Placemark>

    There is some other info in the file that isn't needed (lots of <styleUrl>#m_ylw-pushpin</styleUrl> entries) but it's too much effort to remove it every month.

    Finding a virus free download may not be easy though.

    Went on Face book group 'Nozatec Truck Sat Nav Users' and from there got the links ( WIN CE iGo Primo - Truck Edition pack - Last Update ) to down load the latest Q2 2016 maps, all good
    Bit of a palava using it torrent etc but all up to date now. The official NozaTec elitefashion web site is way out of date .

    Connect you USB to the Sat nav and then, if is doesn't open by itself, use Windows Explorer, or just pres (Win-key and e keys simultaneously) you'll see all the drives then. Open 'This PC' is your using Win8

    I understand from earlier posts that the files on the official site are not the latest updates - can anybody help me with how to get the latest map updates? When I follow Yeoblade's link above, I can only get a link for the language and voice pack.

    I got my Nozatec out of the box this weekend and was dismayed to find I'd deleted the maps on it, but once I'd re-read the instructions it was simple enough. I've now got the WC POIs on to it. Mine has the folders already inserted. One of the problems I encountered was my computer not recognising the device on occasions. Perseverance paid off. I'm slightly baffled about the instructions to change the icons. Is this strictly necessary?
