There is Point to Point racing about five miles from Lanark on the Saturday afternoon for anyone who likes a flutter.

Yes to both, but you probably have to walk to Lanark to catch the bus. If there was enough people interested we/ I could organise something. Bar, food and bookies there. Equally you can take your own drink and food with you. Most of the food is in a bun but I believe but straight from the farm and so recommended.

The bus past the site to Lanark Bus Station is at just before 10 past every hour and is the 91 / 191 service. The bus to The P to P venue (Overton Farm, Crossford) is the 317 service leaving Lanark bus station at 8.46, 11.16, 12.46, 14.16

Overton Farm food is good. Their meat is locally sourced and butchered on the farm. The pies are also made on site.

Had a phone call meeting with south Lanarkshire council. The area we are having our meet at has some potholes and some rubbish around ,They have issued an order for this to be addressed I'm assured.
I had a wonder and couldn't find the water I was told about but have been informed just up from where we will be there's a football pavilion and we are welcome to use the tap there,I gets removed as sometimes it gets turned on ,so I am going to pop in next again weekend check and will try and bring our own tap and leave it to the last to depart to have,
If anyone has any questions give me a shout and will try to answer
    Regards Gordon
