    It's a strange one...
Apparently he still has both sets of keys. They drove off in the van though with the alarm going off.... How they bypassed the immobilizer is beyond me....

I have been looking at base vans for conversion and all vans have weaknesses if you know where to drill, prod a screwdriver (fiat) etc to bypass the lock itself, this group gave me an idea whats been done. Ford's, Fiat, Citroen, peugeot renault seem to be most common models to be broken into.

I saw a video recently that showed a "ford tib lock" type lock pick being used and a plug in device in the diagnostic port.
    That was a 2016 van.

The kit they use to steal Transits is now available for Fiat/Peugeot/Citroen models.

IF they can make a top of the range BMW dissappear this fast....

You'd not be surprised to see what they do with something basic like a, van...

Tibbe lock picks are available for peanuts on ebay.... And even now for Hykee type security replacements....

And that's before they just resort to plain old brute force and violence.
Thanks Alf thanked for this post
