    Sunlight A69 Stolen

Our beloved Sunlight A69 (Transit base) was stolen off our driveway today in under 10 minutes in broad daylight. Stolen from Wem, Shropshire. Grateful of eyes and ears. There aren't many of these about. Even have a picture from CCTV of the thief.

Gutted for you and too close to home [we are in Aston near Wrenbury]. Hopefully the police or someone will recognize the scumbag and maybe, just maybe you will get your pride and joy back in one piece.

    Good luck.

It's been said many times but may be worth repeating. Drive around the area. Sometimes vehicles are parked up for a short time to see if they are fitted with a tracker, It might just be parked down a side street. Hope you get it back,

What other theft deterrents did you have fitted. There has been a lot of talk on here about Ford based MHs going missing. Sorry to here it's been stolen but it just goes to show how easy they are to steal.

Really sorry to hear this and how gutted and upset you must be. Do hope it is soon found and in good condition. A lot of people post to facebook and it gets shared and more people looking out for it (just a thought). I appreciate not everyone likes faceache.

Sadly, as I also discovered a few years ago, Transit Mk7s are easily stolen and the police generally do little other than issuing a crime number and putting the registration number onto the police national computer in case it goes past an ANPR camera with the original plates visible.
The CCTV image may, however, give them something to go on and do a bit more.
If your motorhome is recovered or you replace it with another Transit Mk7-based one, this thread from 2015 may provide some useful pointers in terms of enhanced security: Transit based motorhomes being stolen.

If it has, lets hope it is in same condition as when stolen.

Amazingly, through the power of social media, it has been found. A couple spotted a post of Facebook after having seen a van near their home. Incredibly grateful and immensely relieved. Thanks to all who helped, shared, posted and looked.

Thanks yorkslass, Alf, GinaRon, trixie88 thanked for this post
