Picked up two of the Aldi 1 litre bottles of green this week, gone up to £6 but still a good buy if you want a fluid with a nice pine smell 👍

Does this bio tabs/liquid work as good as the green toilet stuff? and does it work out cheaper? I have a couple of large bottles of green toilet stuff that came with the MH so not had to buy anything yet.
Miles better and cheaper, nothing but light brownish water when you empty, no stink, mine sits for weeks before emptying and almost clear.

To return to the original question, no the 3 in 1 capsules are not good.

They include sections for conditioner, which you dont want in your main wash or in your toilet.

The single capsules are good though. I suspect that al bio brands are as good as one another, but some have pretty horrid perfumes added.

I prefer the Lidl ones both for smell and for price, but the liquid version seems as good and is possibly cheaper, as ling as you get the dosing right: its easy to tip too much in.

Having said that, bio laundry liquid works far better than the toilet fluids.

I use these in the toilet in campervan.
Do you need to cut them and squeeze. Or can you just chuck um in .as when using
Have u noticed that no subject other than toilet matters augers soo much interest and 'toilet jokes'
But, does washing machine detergent cause premature failure of toilet seals?
We don't use a wet sytem anyway, just curious....

We can be way more useful than men in many ways, skills often under appreciated by blokes who were ruined by their mothers ;) :devilish:

I blame the women who bring their lads up unable to cook, wash, clean and able to fend for themselves :)
It's got a bit better over the years, but a lot of attitudes are deeply ingrained and are still passed from one generation to the next, unfortunately.
Spot on. But I don't think this forum is here to cover such matters though, best left alone i think. But then, i am a softy southerner who does all the cooking! Oh! that's another subject best left out of this forum!!

So regarding getting the dosage right (I'm going to use Lidl Formil), what do you suggest?

With the capsules, one after emptying, and then in warm weather, one every day or two until it's full.
With the liquid, one glob from the bottle. Scientific, eh?
